I Did It...

...I have BANGS!
I really needed something new, and although, the cut isn't such a dramatic change, the bangs certainly are! I have been against bangs (even for Gentry) since the "style" came back. But, today I went for. So which is cuter? Swooped to the side, or shaggy in the front???

Let the pics explain!

Our trip tp Tulum, Mexico (2 hours south of Cancun) was so amazing. I love Mexico and all the relaxation it has to offer! I'll let my "top ten" and pictures tell the story! If you just can't get enough of the pictures and want to see more, click on the link at the bottom of this post.

10:
1. Hanging out as a family all week
2. Celebrating 5 years of marriage to my wonderful husband
3. Not preparing one single meal for an entire week
4. Beach
5. Ocean
6. Pool
7. Watching Gentry be adventerous
8. The food, until about day 3!
9. Everyone looking at us as though we were crazy for bringing our kids on vacation
10.  The Disney show. OK, that one came from Gentry!

As you can tell, this part of Mexico (along with others) is so beautiful. The water is so clear. I love being able to see what is about to bite/sting me!

Gentry loved the ocean so much!

Harlow loved sleeping so much! This is pretty much how she spent her days!

Semi-family photo, can you guess where Harlow was?!

Gentry trying out flippers

Gentry apparently liks squid!! GROSS...

Camera Snob

Disney characters from the show performed the last night we were there!

Alex's REALLY awesome mirrored sunglasses he got at the dollar store. It was so unfortunate that they broke on the last day of our trip :(

Gentry and her daddy!

Amazing husband and me!

Gentry getting her face painted on "Cats" night!

Gentry on the "wave-rider". Too cheap to do the real thing on the ocean!!

Not the "newbie" anymore.

Harlow has given up her title as "newest, cutest newborn ever". Well, at least in our large Knecht family. You don't get to keep that title long in this family! Boden Ryder was born May 6th at 5:15am! He was a chunk-a-riffic 8lbs, 15 ounces!

Doesn't Harlow look so mature and sophisticated, next to her younger cousin!

Always up for an Adventure...

...And this trip was no slight use of the word 'Adventure'. We loaded my sister's life into a U-haul, and 3 adults and 2 kids into her SUV and set out for the "city of lights". Yep, Las Vegas, a 14 hour jog from Ft. Collins. (**If you are wondering right now if my sister Aimee has decided to move to Vegas to be a stripper or card-dealer, the answer is no!!**More on that later). My girls did very well in the car, especially Gentry, despite her tendency not to sleep in the car. Doesn't every kid fall asleep in the car?! Anyway, here are some pictures of the trip out...I'll post more on our stay in Vegas later!

Aimee's life crammed into this U-haul trailer!

Gentry, Harlow, and I sat in the back seat

This was Harlow most of the time!

Note this one folks... Gentry, unfortunately, is not much of a car sleeper!

One of our FEW stops! Pretty impressive for the amount of people we had!

Happy Harlow

My view for about 11/14 hours!
